Your response means more than you know.
I have a black fedora from when I wanted to look mysterious like Leonard Cohen, so a real hat shop is something special to me.

I was on my way to work when I saw him sitting there amidst the dust of a bygone era, looking out at the street from what was once a thriving business.
I was of course struck that he chose to be there in the few days that remain for him and that place where he lived his life.

I have discovered the magical world of subscriptions! I have you on two - Bloglines and Google Reader.

I love the word "haberdashery". You don't see that every day. You certainly don't see hat shops very often these days. The only one I've ever really been to is the one on Granville Island. They moved down the hall a year or two ago into a bigger location.
